People walk through a large puddle of oil foam and weathered oil at the beach in Gulf Shores, Ala., on June 30, 2010. High waves and rough seas from Tropical Storm Alex have pushed more oil from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill farther on shore and have prevented clean up crews from working. The BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, which began two months ago, is the largest in US history and continues to threaten wildlife, the ecosystem and the economy of the Gulf Coast as BP and government officials attempt to stop the flow and remove what has already been released.
